The journal is the starting point. Photography, Music and Writing offer different paths through the same collection: a place seen, a moment heard, a thought written down.
An archive to return to, and to add to slowly.
This first edition
This is a working beginning. The journal entries and essays are illustrative sample text, not accounts of James’s life. The sample photographs are by the photographers credited in the photography archive. The audio study is a short synthesized demonstration, not a field recording.
These samples will make way for original work as the journal grows.
